SF Love Dojo Mindful Self Compassion course in the fall

Dear all,

I'm planning the 8-week workshop on Mindful Self Compassion for this upcoming fall. You may have taken the 2.5 hour workshop in April. If you're tentatively interested in enrolling, please reply to this email. Currently, I'm planning to offer the class on
Wednesday evenings
6:30-9 pm
September 5 - October 24, 2018
San Francisco location TBD

Cost will be $500, but I'm willing to offer a $150 discount to all those on the mailing list who reply with tentative interest to this email.

After taking the workshop, you'll be able to

  • Practice self-compassion in daily life
  • Understand the empirically-supported benefits of self-compassion
  • Motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism
  • Handle difficult emotions with greater ease
  • Transform challenging relationships, old and new
  • Manage caregiver fatigue
  • Practice the art of savoring and self-appreciation

What To Expect

Program activities include meditation, short talks, experiential exercises, group discussion, and home practices. MSC is a workshop rather than a retreat. The goal is for participants to directly experience self-compassion and learn practices that evoke self-compassion in daily life.
