Hi friends!

Thanks for being part of this list!  I have some exciting news - I just got my first Op Ed published in a major newspaper!  Please click the link below and help spread the word.  The more popular my article, the more likely I'll be asked to do more. Thank you for sharing with your friends!

Deactivate Facebook, Become Human in the New York Daily News

Hopefully this will bring my book one step closer to publication!  Let me know what you think!

In other news, a couple of great films from CAAMFest will be released in theaters soon.

1.  The Sisterhood of Night - A fantastic film about the relationships of high school girls looks at the culture of shame and cyberbullying, and ends with a really positive message.  Starring Georgie Henley and Kal Penn.  I write about it here in this Psychology Today blogpost.  Will be released across the country on April 10 - check for your city here.

Slut vs. Stud:  Monica Lewinsky and the Shaming of Girls

2.  Don't Think I've Forgotten: Cambodia's Lost Rock and Roll will be released in San Francisco at the Balboa theater and Berkeley at the Rialto on May 8, 2015.  A fantastic documentary about the flourishing Cambodian music scene before Pol Pot.  Check for other cities and screening dates here.

9-Man (about a kind of volleyball in the Chinese American community, winner of the Jury Prize at CAAMFest) will likely be screening on PBS in May, and Top Spin (about teens playing competitive table tennis) is rumored to have a theatrical release later this year.  Check back with the CAAMedia blog for details.

Thanks and stay tuned for more good news!

Ravi
