sixty-one floors
streets paved
with gold potholes
ground not still
towers lean
we drink from
dirty cups
and call
them clean

inclement feet on clement street
tech bros hyped on greed and geek
stranger danger in my city of friends
fault lines crack my searching lens
no one meets your eyes anymore
we shun the thing we would all die for
afraid, anonymous, ashamed, proud
city of friends turns lonely crowd
Zeus has split us with spell of division
keep feeding hearts, await soul emanation
